Gallery is the original photographic works of Jessica Risker. I often
find my eye drawn to urbanesque, industrialized subjects, and ordinary
objects seen in different ways. All photographs are for sale.
I reside in Chicago where photographic inspiration abounds. I also love to travel and take photographs of my journeys.
Sometimes people ask me to describe what a photograph is about. It is hard for me to do. For me, the point of photography is to describe something without using words.
I use a Canon Rebel SLR camera. All photographs are taken using 35mm film. Although the photographs on the website have been digitized, any prints purchased will be re-printed from the original negatives to give the photographs the best quality and color possible.
Currently, I have photos for sale in a boutique called NonPareil, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. I also have pieces at Salon Em in Wrigleyville.
